Robyn Powers

Senior Wildlife Biologist

Robyn Powers joined Terra Verde as a Senior Wildlife Biologist in 2019 and has nearly 20 years of experience, with an emphasis on rare and endangered wildlife species surveys, research, and population monitoring. Robyn has been an ecological scent-detection dog handler, trainer, and program manager for 7 years and owns two detection dogs which have been deployed on numerous projects to survey for endangered species and bird and bat fatalities. Much of her work has focused on mammal ecology and conservation, particularly foxes, but she has supported many projects focused on a variety of taxa, including rare and endangered amphibians and reptiles.

Robyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Denver in Colorado and a Master of Science in Biology with an emphasis on Wildlife Behavior and Physiology from San Francisco State University in California.
