Katie Saenger

Katie joined Terra Verde in 2022 as a wildlife biologist. She has 4 years of experience in the wildlife field conducting species surveys, research, and population monitoring. Additionally, Katie has extensive experience in large mammal handling, animal instrumentation and tracking, biological sample collections, and field crew management.  

Katie holds a B.S. degree in Marine Sciences and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where she is studying the migration pathways of weaned northern elephant seal pups.
