Sara Snyder

Wildlife Biologist

Sara Snyder joined Terra Verde in 2018, bringing 15 years of experience as a wildlife biologist, with 8 of those years in the environmental consulting industry. She has extensive experience with sensitive species of the Central Coast and the San Joaquin Valley, including California red-legged frog, blunt-nosed leopard lizard, and San Joaquin kit fox. Sara is also permitted for wet season surveys for all federally listed vernal pool branchiopod species in California.

Sara holds a M.S. degree in Biology from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and a B.S. degree in Marine Biology from University of California Santa Cruz. She has also been a board member of the California Central Coast Chapter of The Wildlife Society for five years.
